Riverworld I: Resurrection Day
A large, grayish-metal cylinder. It measures 18 inches in diameter and 30 inches long. There is a hinged lid with a handle; the handle is tied to the owner’s wrist by a six-inch strap of transparent material. When opened, the cylinder reveals six small metal containers. The thickness of the cylinder’s walls is no greater than aluminum foil, yet the metal seems extremely strong.
On Resurrection Day, the cylinders are called copias by the local Spanish-speaking population.
